The National Collegiate Honors Council's Fall Board Meeting, held on October 30, 2024, commenced with the acceptance of the meeting agenda. Following this, the minutes from the Summer 2024 Board meeting were approved with a correction to Motion 19, which had previously stated the creation of a Transfer Special Interest Group (Motion 24.47). This motion also passed unanimously. The Board then moved on to accept the Consent Agenda.
Several key motions were made during the meeting, including the acceptance of Vision 2028, the approval of the 2025 NCHC operating budget, and the acceptance of a name change for the Major Scholarships Committee to the National Competitive Awards Committee. Additionally, a motion to form an ad hoc committee to evaluate the credentialing feasibility of the Credly platform was passed with a friendly amendment to report findings by the Summer 2025 meeting. The financial report was accepted, and the meeting was adjourned, with all motions successfully carried out.
